Letter: Voting for Ed

I am voting for Ed Friedrich who is running for state rep for Loudon and Canterbury in Merrimack District 4. I always ask myself “Why do people run for public office?” Life could be easier, Saturday golf, Sunday afternoon football. Ed is running because he cares about his neighbors and friends, as we all do, but Ed has always chosen to do something about it. His life reflects this. He is a U.S. Marine Corps veteran, which speaks for itself. He is president of the Loudon Lions Club, in this role strengthening the town with community projects. He is a member of the American Legion, thereby supporting veterans and their families.

Ed has a vision of what could be better and feels he can do something about it. I’ve known Ed a long time, and he is someone I trust. I trust his honesty and integrity, and I trust that he will do his best to make a difference in our communities, in our lives and in our state of New Hampshire. That’s why I am voting for Ed and urge you all to do so. You can get to know Ed better by visiting his Facebook page.
