Letter: Trump’s dubious selection process

“Send in the clowns.” Has there ever been in our history a worse selection of cabinet heads, international representatives and presidential advisors? Apparently expertise and experience have no place in Trump’s selections. Seems the only requirement is loyalty to the Donald. With this group, Trump’s worst inclinations will be rubber stamped. The guard rails of his first administration are gone.

If his intention is to destroy the federal government, as many suggest, he is off to a roaring start. With a stacked Supreme Court giving him nearly total immunity and a Republican controlled Congress, there is little in the way of checks and balances. It will be up to the citizenry to provide resistance. Stay aware and be prepared to peacefully act when necessary. Fasten your seat belt. There’s a rough road ahead.
