Highlights: The Bears used a solid defensive effort to defeat the Raiders in the first game of the Mike Lee Holiday Bash held in Farmington. Coe-Brown opens bracket play on Thursday against the winner of Profile vs. Raymond.

Girls’ Basketball

Coe-Brown 60, Portsmouth Christian 42

Key players: Coe-Brown – Jennifer Noni (19 points), Hannah Meehan (11 points), Eliah Crawn (9 points), Kalina Kasprzak (7 points); Portsmouth Christian – Ava Buchanan (25 points)

Highlights: Coe-Brown came out strong offensively with a 22-9 first quarter and never looked back, shooting a high percentage for 3 against the PCA zone in the opening game of the Mike Lee Holiday Bash.

Highlights:  The Falcons and Bulldogs both netted goals in the first period, but Bedford scored in the third to advance in the Brian C. Stone Memorial Tournament in Manchester.
