Highlights: The Brinity Falcons scored two goals late in the third period to defeat the Cardinals and move into first place in the standings. Pelletier tied the game with three minutes remaining and Jacques netted the game winner with 1:24 left.

Boys’ Hockey

Concord 4, Bedford 2

Key players: Concord – Chad Lariviere (goal, 2 assists), Cam Roy (goal, assist), Rowan Arndt (goal), Nolan Walsh (goal), Tyler Morin (assist), Lukas Rondiak (assist), Finn Gfroerer (assist), Luukas Mayer (9 saves)

Highlights: Lariviere and Roy scored goals in the second period to put the Tide up 3-1, and Walsh netted a goal in the third to make it 4-1. The Bulldogs scored their final goal late in the game. Arndt scored in the first for Concord, which ended the period in a 1-1 tie.

Coach’s quote: “We really dominated the game, but didn’t finish and let Bedford hang around. They blocked a ton of shots. We need to be better in games like this, and not force it and get shots to the net. The line of Lariviere, Roy and Arndt had a strong game for us.” – Concord’s Dunc Walsh
