Highlights: The Tide fell in overtime to one of Division I’s best programs.

Highlights: MV opened scoring 30 seconds into play when Mercier crossed the ball to Butler on the post. MV scored twice more in the first quarter, both off penalty corners. Thompson and Tucker scored in the second quarter to make it 5-0. Laconia scored early in the third quarter and again early in the fourth quarter off a penalty corner, but the Pride finished the scoring in the fourth when Forbes tipped a pass to Cole on the post. MV had a 13-3 advantage in penalty corners and a 13-6 advantage in shots on goal.

Key players: Pembroke – Phoebe Morris (goal), Ava Strazzeri (defense)
Highlights: Morris scored in the game’s first minute and nearly scored again minutes later as the Spartans took Hanover by surprise with an early surge. But the Bears finally broke through in the third quarter to tie the score and then pulled away with a couple goals in the fourth.
Coach’s quote: “We came out really strong and took it to them, scoring right away and having numerous chances to get a second goal. We fought off a huge amount of corners and kept them at bay for a long time. Ava Strazzeri was everywhere for us on defense.” – Pembroke’s Steve Langevin

Hanover 1, Concord 0
Key players: Concord – Dean Ayotte (9 saves), Dedieu Lukuse (midfield), Noah Wyatt (defense)
Highlights: Hanover scored off a corner kick for game’s only goal in the 22nd minute of the first half. Ayotte made some excellent saves to keep Concord in the match and Lukuse played well in the midfield to give the Tide play going forward.

Bow 3, ConVal 2
Key players: Bow – Cara Van Dyke (2 goals), Zoey Lupien (goal), Gabby Tarsa (assist), Ashley Wallen (assist), Gwen Barrieau (goalie), Lexi Insana (midfield), Marissa Reyes (midfield), Anna Zerba (midfield), Ella Murphy (forward), Lexana Farr (forward), Meldina Becirovic (forward)
Highlights: ConVal scored 5:30 into the game, but Bow tied it three minutes later on a through ball from Tarsa to Van Dyke, who beat the defense to the ball and calmly put her shot into the corner. The Cougars scored with about a minute to go in the first half to go up 2-1. Lupien hit a great low shot from about 25 yards out to tie the game and Van Dyke scored the game-winning goal with 10 minutes to go.
Coach’s quote: “The game did not start as planned, but was happy with our response after the first goal. Girls sorted it out at halftime and fought hard in the second half, and except for a couple of scary moments, did a great job closing out the game after our third goal.” – Bow’s Jay Vogt

Kearsarge 6, Mascoma 1
Key players: Kearsarge – Carly Grant (3 goals, 2 assists), Ava Shapiro (2 assists), Ociee Ilg (2 goals), Jada Kendrigan (goal), Katie Walkinshaw (assist), Addie Place (assist); Mascoma – Cora Peters (goal)
Highlights: After an opening 10 minutes of both teams struggling to control play, Grant took control offensively scoring three goals in the next 14 minutes. After that the Cougars controlled the match. Ilg bookended halftime with two goals and Kendrigan added another in the 60th minute. Peters put Mascoma on the board with a beautiful shot from outside the box.
Coach’s quote: “This was a good bounce back game. We took a tough loss Saturday and I was impressed how the team took the lessons from that game and worked to improve their play and chemistry.” – Kearsarge’s Dave Smith
