Highlights: MV had a 16-2 run to start the second half for a 41-29 lead, but the Spartans responded with a 13-0 run, punctuated by Dexter’s 3-pointer at the buzzer to take a 42-41 lead into the fourth. Pembroke scored eight of the next 10 in the fourth quarter to extend its lead and held on from there.

Highlights: The Cougars led 21-5 at the end of the first quarter and shutout the Hillcats in the second quarter to lead 33-5 at halftime. All 13 Kearsarge players saw time on the floor and nine made the scoring column.
