Highlights: Insana opened the scoring 11:50 into the game and Van Dyke scored off a corner to make it 2-0 at halftime. Insana notched her second tally 2:30 into the second half and Tarsa scored both of her goals in a two minute span to complete the scoring.

Highlights: St. Cyr’s third hat trick of season, Brown’s second hat trick of season and Baker’s first career varsity goal led the Hawk offense. Loew recorded her fourth shutout of season.

Highlights: The Cougars controlled much of the game, with Root opening the scoring in the fourth minute, redirecting a cross from Hasey. Dudley scored off a cross from Thorp to make it 2-0 and Hasey put the third goal on the board, crashing the net as Wimer sent a ball into the box. Wimer added the only goal in the second half off a pass from Shapiro. Kearsarge’s back four (Lacombe, Marinello, Kendrigan and Spiegel) held off a few Mountaineer counterattacks.

Merrimack Valley 1, Pelham 1

Key players: MV – Julianne Guertin (goal)

Highlights: Guertin scored off a corner rebound with 5:40 left in the second quarter, but Pelham tied the game two minutes later off a corner of its own. Neither team found the cage in overtime.

Coach’s quote: “Today was a tough game for us mentally. Things were not going our way and we faced some adversity. We could not capitalize on our adjustments. Hats off to Pelham, they were very aggressive and quick to the ball. We learn more and more with every game and we are ready to move forward into next week.” – MV’s Jen Colgan

Highlights: Montagna scored the winning goal halfway through overtime, after a Kearsarge player was carded and the Cougars were a player down.

Girls’ Volleyball

Winnisquam 3, Fall Mountain 0

Key players: Winnisquam  – Caiden Carter (3 kills, 3 aces), Victoria Kelly (3 kills, block), Loralie Nelson (5 digs), Shayla Jordan (8 aces, 2 digs), Bella Dill (4 digs, 5 aces)

Highlights: The Bears controlled the first two sets with strong service, but the Wildcats kept it close in the third as Winnisquam won 25-9, 25-16, 25-21. Fall Mountain led 21-17 in the third set, but Madyson Haskins served out the last nine points with two aces to secure the win. The Bears had 23 aces total in the match.
