BOYS’ SOCCER Concord 2, Manchester Memorial 1

Key players: Concord – Benjamin Hughes (2 goals), Jonah Gaby (assist), Matthew Jenness (8 saves), Nicholas Reynolds (defense), Kaelen Williams (defense), Nicholas D’Agostino (midfield), Dean Ayotte (midfield)

Highlights: Hughes opened the game with a goal in the fourth minute by pressing Memorial’s back line. The Crusaders tied the game with three minutes to go, but Hughes scored in the 79th minute, taking a feed from Gaby, to secure the victory for the Crimson Tide.

Coe-Brown 2, Pelham 1

Key players: Coe-Brown – Caleb Jones (goal), Max Heigis (goal), Brady Colgan (assist), Nick Ball (assist)

Highlights: The Bears trailed 1-0 at halftime but made some adjustments that shifted the momentum for the second half. Jones scored the game-tying goal, finishing off a surging run from right back with a beautiful strike, while Heigis scored the game-winner off a header.
