Lemonade stand helps raise money for Greater Lakes Region Children’s Auction

Sophia Lyman, 9, a fourth grader at Gilford Elementary School, and her twin, Victoria, raised $470 for the Greater Lakes Region Children’s Auction at the end of the summer by running a lemonade stand at a local cornhole tournament. “It was fun,” Sophia said. “I like giving money away to charities and hospitals.” Victoria said, “I want kids to enjoy Christmas like I do.”
