The crowds and eclectic acts at the Concord Multicultural Festival continue to grow from year to year. From African music, to Brazilian Samba, Hawaiian to Nepalese and Indian dancing, the performances didn’t stop throughout the afternoon.

Plus, the lines to purchase various cuisines from around the world stretched the distance of the soccer field at Keach Park.

And this year, the forecasted rain for the region never materialized.

The Concord Multicultural Festival is an annual event in September to celebrate the beauty of diversity in the Capital Region. The mission of the organizers, Jessica Livingston, festival director, Sindy Chown, co-chair and performance director and Ghana Sharma, co-chair and culinary director, is to foster an appreciation for diversity by providing engaging opportunities to share and learn about the many different cultures.
