Highlights:  The Falcons dropped their season opener on their home mats. Bow, the defending D-III champions, will compete against D-I teams at the Salem Blue Devil Classic on Saturday.

Key players: Franklin – Kourtney Kaplan (23 points), Lily Cornell (14 points), Sage Slocum (7 points)

Highlights: The Tornadoes jumped out to a 17-2 lead at the end of the first quarter, with Kaplan scoring 13 of those points in the opening frame, and extended it to 30-10 at halftime. Cornell scored 12 of her 14 points in the second half to help Franklin secure its second victory on its new home court.
