Concord Harvest Fair

St. Paul’s Episcopal Church at 21 Centre St. Concord, hosts a Harvest Fair on Saturday, Oct. 21, from 9 a.m. – 2 p.m. The fair includes knit and sew items, crafts, garden items and plants, books, jewelry, new and nearly new items, vintage linens, Christmas wreaths, baked goods, a variety of raffle baskets (Italian, scratch ticket/gift card tree, Mary Kay, Toy, Christmas, and more), silent auction items (snowshoes, tapestries, framed pictures etc.), antiques and collectables, M&M figure dispensers, Christmas ornaments, and holiday decorations. Boscawen Girl Scouts to host a unicorn party

New friends. New adventures. The best is yet to come. Shine bright with Girl Scouts and discover a whole new world of possibilities. Girls in grades K-3 and a caregiver are invited to learn about opportunities to get involved in your community. Try out sample activities and see the many ways to get involved in Girl Scouts while having fun at a special unicorn party! Come explore Girl Scouts Tuesday, Oct. 17, 6-7 p.m. at Boscawen Elementary School, 1 B.E.S.T. Ave., Boscawen, or Thursday, Oct. 19, 6-7 p.m. at Congregational Christian Church, 25 S. Concord Authors Paula Munier and Edwin Hill

Paula Munier returns to Gibson’s Bookstore at 45 South Main Street, in Concord on Tuesday, Oct. 17, at 6:30 p.m. with the fifth Mercy Carr mystery, “Home at Night,” as once again our favorite former-military-police pair (one two-legged, one four-legged) stumble across a body, this time during what is supposed to be a relaxing staycation in Vermont at Halloween. Paula will be joined by Edwin Hill, whose newest book, “The Secrets We Share” will be available in paperback at the event.
