Boys’ Basketball

Bow 61, Pembroke 54

Key players: Bow – Jake Reardon (27 points), Brendan O’Keeffe (19 points), Peyton Larrabee (10 points, rebounding), Colby Smith (on ball defense)

Highlights:  The Falcons avenged their Jan. 2 93-69 loss with an upset victory on their home floor.

Highlights: After a slow start by both teams in the first half, the Pride outscored Brady 34-11 in the second half to pull off the win.

Highlights: The Crimson Tide snapped a five-game losing streak with a road victory over the Warriors.

Pembroke 47, Bow 38

Key players: Pembroke – Annelise Dexter (29 points), Kaitlin Arenella (12 points); Bow – Juliette Tarsa (23 points), Ella Trefethen (8 points), Kate Labrecque (4 points)

Highlights:  Trefethen nailed a 3-pointer and Tarsa added a layup to tie the game at 38-38 with 1:30 remaining in the game. Dexter and Arenella combined to shoot 9-for-10 from the foul line, which secured the win for the Spartans. Pembroke bounced back from their first loss of the season.

Highlights:  Brady was able to take a 17-10 lead into halftime with great first half defense and energy.

Highlights: The Bears put pressure on the Knights early to take control and win their fourth game in their last five contests.

Highlights: Lebanon was up 11-10 after the first quarter, but the Generals only allowed 13 points over the final three quarters to secure the win.

Key players: Kearsarge – Tessa Marinello (30 points), Ociee Ilg (10 points); Fall Mtn. – Sophia Grillone (19 points)

Highlights: Fall Mountain jumped out to a 15-1 lead, but the Cougars came back to avoid the upset.

Hopkinton 48, Newport 43

Key players: Hopkinton – Lizz Holmes (13 points), Helen Yeaton (12 points), Zoe Bishop (11 points), Paige Boudette (8 points)

Highlights: Newport opened up a 22-12 lead after the first quarter before the Hawks cut the deficit to 26-25 at the half. The second half featured multiple lead changes as both teams traded baskets before Hopkinton pulled away late for the road win on Friday night.

Highlights:  Golden finished second to lead the Tide to the runner-up spot in a seven-team giant slalom race at Crotched Mountain. Golden’s combined time from two GS runs clocked in at 1:07.97, just .39 seconds behind Keene’s Watson Ferguson.

Girls’ Alpine Skiing

Highlights:  The Tide finished fourth out of nine teams in a giant slalom race at Crotched Mountain. BG’s Elena Ellia had the fastest combined time of two GS runs with a 1:08.88.
