Quilts of valor presentations

On September 18, three members of Concord’s VFW, Post 1631, were presented with quilts from Patriot Piece Makers, Quilts of Valor. A Quilt of Valor is a quality, handmade quilt that is hand quilted. It is awarded to a Service member or Veteran who has been touched by war. The quilt says unequivocally, “Thank you for your service and sacrifice in serving our nation.” These three Veterans served in the Vietnam War, Guantanamo Detention Facility and Iraq Wars.
